Oswestry features regular activities and entertainment on the Bailey Head, right in the centre of the town.

Set between the Powis Market Hall and Oswestry Town Hall which also houses the Atfield Theatre, the ‘Bailey Stage’ market plaza, showcases musicians, bands, dance troops and entertainers of all kinds as well as hosting special events in the town’s calendar. Showcasing Your Talents

We’re looking for the type of music that the general public would enjoy using the seating areas on the Bailey Head to listen to for a while, and it can be anything from bands to individual artists. We don’t provide a PA system, but are able to provide power for your own PA system as needed. There is no charge, but we would like to hear a demo tape (can be a CD or an MP3 available to listen to online) as part of our oversight of scheduling.

And it’s not just musicians we’re on the lookout for. If you are an entertainer or street performer - magicians, buskers, balloon artists, mime artists, face painters, dancers and puppeteers - we want to hear from you!
