Set up in 2006 by local Church leaders and Christians, The Haven Oswestry is a Christian charity, staffed by local Christians, and affiliated to Churches Together in Oswestry District.

The Haven offers a warm welcome; a listening ear and prayer for: personal healing and wholeness in Christ Jesus; for the blessing of the Town Market, recognising that the market is central to the well-being of Oswestry and for the transformation of the town and its communities, in the hope that all may live and rejoice in the Kingdom blessing of God, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The Haven began as an outdoor market stall in 2006, providing a seating area for any persons passing by offering a place of quiet peace and chat and giving comfort, listening, councel and healing prayer.
