My name is Clare Barker and I am the Barber in the Market.
I have been a hairdresser since 1990 and became a barber for the armed forces in 1997 and haven’t looked back since. I work with the very young all the way to our OAP’s and veterans.
I am a mother of two boys, one of which is a teenager, so I can manage most modern cuts, and my other son has special needs and suffers from learning disabilities and behaviour, therefore I am used to working with children and teenagers with all abilities and can also cater for wheelchair access. I am even proficient in Makaton and British Sign language for the heard of hearing.
